PEMANFAATAN METODE TASK PRESENTATION SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MAHASISWA

Abstract

This research entitled "Utilization of Task Presentation Method as an Effort to improve speaking skills in collage among Students" aims to explain this presentation method is one of the efforts to increase the use of Indonesian among students. The focus of this research is on 1)Definition of Presentation 2)Causes of Indonesian Language Mixing during presentations and 3) Efforts to improve the use of Indonesian in presentations. This research uses a qualitative method, namely literature study, or library research, which is a research method that focuses on data collection through understanding and learning theories contained in various literatures related to the research topic. The data collection process in this method is done by finding information from various sources, such as books, journals, and research that has been done before. The results of this study show that this presentation method gradually makes students accustomed to using Indonesian. There are several causes that make students still use Indonesian with other languages. Among them, variations in language often arise due to several influences, including local dialects, the influence of regional languages, the influence of the person being spoken to, and the influence of the place where the conversation is held. This happens due to the above influences, it is very difficult to eliminate.
